Can anyone recommend a good set of habdlebars for my Raptor. If so why ? Will the key and light cluster fit between the pad and the mounting bolts ?

I used the renthal "atv race bend" and they do clear the key even with the pad on. My raptor is black so i got the black and silver bars w/black and silver pad. They look and feel great. I think they cost me around 70$

I put Renthal Fat bars on mine and I remounted my key and light gauges on the little triangle in front of the handlebars on the nose piece of plastic it looks better and you can eliminate the stock plastic key/gauge plastic.

I got the Renthal Banshee Bars, (Aluminum Version) and I like the bend and size...not too wide (in case you do any trial riding)...They're real close to the stock bend, but feel like a more controllable position. I used a "gripper" handle grip, which are actually made for watercraft. They have inserts in the ends, a nice oval pattern, and look a lot better than the common "tri-cycle, where's the tassles in the ends" rubber grips. Experiment, but don't get straight bars with a low rise...like motorcycle bars...they won't clear the top fairing.
Hope it helps.

do you have a picture you could post i just put the same bars on. i zip stripped the ignition and indicator lights down out of the way (as a temp fix) those fat bars or pro tapers are better then other bars because they reduce fatigue and still have all the strength of a bar with a cross bar
