Hey guys i bought a 700 friday picked it up sat. rode it on sunday.... gotta say i love it still running through the tanks for the break in thing but i blipped it full here and there... anywho i have some cash i'm wanting to throw at it, where can i buy parts for a good deal?
Fist time owning a quad so far thinking of full exhaust and i guess air box?? with a furl controller is pretty much what you can do without cracking the case open? i don't want to rebuild the motor with cams and everything in it just yet want some time on this motor before going ***** out.
what are some other mods that might be of interest to me? i'm 6'2 240lbs so far i htink it is awsome comparted to an 2005 400ex i love it.

I have a new 07 raptor 700 i picked up for a smoking deal at the end of the year. I am going to start with an air filter and full exhaust. I have been told the yoshimura system is very good. Also very expensive! Im researching all the brands. After those two things you pretty much have to change the fuel controller so it will run right. My cousin has one done with these things and it runs awesome! Smoked my stock 700! Alot of people tell me to stop there and go straight to the suspension. I guess they come alive with an Ishock system on them with the longer control arms. My cousin says the first thing he suggests buying is the swingarm skidplate! He somehow caught a rock in the rotor and bent it pretty bad, cracked the stock plastic guard in half. He had to limp it back to the trailer and cost him almost $250 to get it fixed and a metal skidplate is $100 or less!! I haven't heard anything about those aluminum airboxes. But they don't cost much on ebay. You will find great prices on thing on ebay. Sometimes half of what you see in the catalogs like rocky mountain.

i have had my raptor for about a year now. the best single exhaust is probaly hmf, another good brand is white brothers. i whould suggest getting duals though they are not that much more and they give you a lot more power. i whould get the barker duals. as far as where to get them i whould go to www.raptorforum.com , this is a great site for info on you 700 and deals on aftermarket parts. also without going into the engine you can change out your throttle body for about $200. ive herd it will give you about 3-4 hp on a 3 mod quad. oh and get a 15t sproket. ive herd nothing but good thing about going up a tooth. i just ordered one so i dont know how it is from first hand experence but from what ive herd it is way better, reduces wheel spin at take off.

3-mod = Pipe, Air Filter, Fuel Management (Power Commander III).
I've got the Trinity Air Filter adapter - largest opening
Barker Dual In-Frame Pipes
PowerCommander III USB
These 3-mods brought the bike to life. Amazing the difference. I can almost 1/2 hill a bud on his stock 700. Yeh, it is that much more power.
