Best tires for Raptor ?
#2
I considered changing tires on my Raptor because I felt for the type ofriding I do, the Dunlops had to good of a bite which made the front end want to come up to easy. I changed the front sprocket to a 12 and aired the rear tires to 7psi and it helped to break them loose a lot easier. I have since gone to a 11 front sprocket and love it. It breaks loose easy now and really pulls strong in 2 through 5 gears. I think it is a perfect combo now. I would suggest you try the gear changes before you spend the money on tires and see if that is more what you are looking for. If it is more holeshot off of the line, you may not want to air the tires up until you have tried a few combos.

I agree to what raptorrider2001 said. It all depends on what type of riding you do. I have
some Razrs 20-11-9 with stock gearing. My type
of riding is desert trailriding, I'm mostly
in 5th gear so stock gearing is perfect for
me.My Razrs are 6-ply,more puncture resistance.
