I agree, but come on man "get out of the dark ages and ride a Polaris" Is that not in a way some sort of bashing

Good call Chasman! No offence, Xplor, but you really come across sounding like hypocrate.
"come out of the dark ages, ride Polaris".... now that sounds to me like xplor is calling everyone who doesn't ride Polaris, cave men or something. This is just a perfect example of how we all have the urge to build up our rides, and knock other's down just for the fun of it. There is no harm done. I don't turn off my computer and cry when I hear someone here putting down Wolverines. It's all part of the sport. We all like to compete, and brag up our bikes, and as long as everyone tries to take it with a grain of salt.... there is no harm done.

You are right Derekjes. If you research every "can't we all just get along" anti-bashing topic, i'll bet 99% of the time, the original poster has done some type of "quad-bashing" recently.

Just because I have a funny catch-phrase does not make it outright bashing. Some things said here on the forums go a little farthur than friendly competition. Quit trying to find problems and just ride and compare rides, without totally downing ones quad. I am far from being a hypocrite. Look at my past posts and most are very objective and honest based on riding experience. I ride with all kinds of quads and like them all. Even when someone comes off of "My" forum and comes in here bashing Raptors...that still makes him a Di**!

it is an insecurity issue, wanting to be better than everyone else is why people bash. Some people hate to think that someone is enjoying something more than they are, or that they might possibly have something better or newer. to actually get angry about something that someone else bought is actually a mental disorder and that person needs to seek help, not saying they are going to pull out a gun and start shooting but it is not exactly normal. Rivalry is normal good natured ribbing about ones choices are fun and freinds we do it all the time, We have Fords, Chevy's Nissans, Polaris, Yamahas and others in our group of friends there are allot of things said never mean always in good fun. People who come on here and actually get mad about what I drive are in need of therapy.
