I keep getting different opinions on what tires to run! Angles for turning, straight for hills! My bike has so much power it seems I will only need them for steep dunes. I have no problems turning. Any advice??

Give us info on where you ride.

I like straights but, I do a lot of hill climbs.

I run the 21X12X8 - 8 paddle haulers. I have the 3-mods.
Wife's Raptor has the 20X10X10-8 paddle haulers.

Hers will turn on a dime. Easy to break the tires loose.
I run a lot of air in my tires and still when I hit it the bike wants to go forward instead of breaking loose in the back.

The straight Haulers will pull the drags (flat or hill) much stronger. You'll blow bast people with molded paddles.

If you ride in flat dunes like Pismo and you don't drag race much. I wouldn't worry about it. They cost more but, I like the extra speed myself of the Haulers.

Ed:

Need more info! I'm in CA, never been to those areas.

Do you shoot the hill or mostly trail ride.

You gotta give us more info if you want a good answer.

Don't listen to people that answer you without asking qualifing questions. Otherwise it is all garbage.

I mainly ride the trails and just cruise around but I want to be able to pull any hill I need to. Everyone in town is pushing the sand stars but they seem overpriced. I'll be drag racing here and there but not enough to sway a decision.

IMO - Get the Haulers. They are just a better tire. It is amazing what a difference they make on the hills. The molded tires just don't perform like the Haulers do.

I continue to be amazed at how many dealers push the cheap molded tires.

Yeah I think I'll probably go with the hauler or the extreme which is a newer version of the hauler. The only difference is the thickness.

Most people run Extremes. They are tougher but, a bit more weight.

So you think I should just run the hauler? I won't really be running the paddles alot.
