Default 06 Wolverine

so I have an 06 Wolverine that is completly stock and I really want to get out and ride it more and I really want to start "modding" it as well. But I am going to have to do it piece by piece. I've seen that a lot of you have done quite a bit which I am excited about because the last time I really looked into this nothing was really out yet. my question is what order should I be doing things? I'm considering...GYTR exhaust, DYNOJet Jet kit, air filter, clutch kit (not quite sure what it does besides more low end), bigger tires, maybe suspension. Thats all I can think of...anything else I should consider? Also, where are people getting all of these because I am still having a hard time finding parts.

I do know that I want to get a winch...I have found one pic from WinchedWolvy...but does anyone have any close ups of the mounting?

Hi just ordered a clutch kit and the GYTR exhaust, I should have them on this week, I will give feedback on that. Buy the way, I am looking for a cam and piston upgrade, tell me if you find anything. I might also need a rpm unlimiter...

If you just ordered the exhaust, you need to order the K&N air filter (if you want to replace your factory) and the Dynojet kit, to correct the fuel/air mixture to the correct ratio.

As far as cam and piston upgrades there is not much available at this point in time. FST makes the 480 bbk and that is all that is available at the moment, Yamaha only offers a 1mm overbore at this time. JE Pistons is coming out with a 440 kit but does not have it available yet.

The cam, I have heard of people using a cam from either a Kodiak 450 or Grizz 450 but Im not sure.

If you were to do the FST 480 bbk or the 500 stroker kit they offer a cam to go with it but he says not to use that cam with a stock engine because it is designed for the bbk and stroker kits.

As far as a rev unlimiter(cdi box?) There is not one available from anyone at this time.

I have the K&N filter, but not the dynojet. But my dealer gave me a replacement main jet. Do I need to change any other jet ?

I was wondering, can you wheelie with your bike? Did the epi and muffler really do a significant change ? And about the epi, did you see a decrease in top speed ?

yes I can wheelie my bike with no problem.

The clutch kit dropped my top speed about 6 mph, which when i replaced the pipe and rejetted it I gained the 6 mph top speed back.
As far as low end torque yes ther is a pretty good amount of change with the clutch kit.

I get an HMF exhaust wich included 3 main jets (to choose from depending in the altitude you ride) for about US$250, and i'm really happy with it, now the wolverine has a lot more power. I also get a FPS clutch kit for about US$ 110. Finaly the wolverine has a lot more acceleration, feels much more powerfull and gets to a top speed of 53 MPH much faster and easier than before.

How tough is the EPi clutch kit to install? Or do I need the dealer to do it? I already have the pipe, filter and jet.
