What's up with this thing. Had no problem till today! starts ok when cold , on choke maxed out, it will run and idle for a minute or so then dies .quick hit on the
throttle same choke level fires right up for only 8 to 10 sec. then dies. same procedure execpt choke has to be 3/4 close now for it to start but same result!
As soon as you give it gas even abit , it dies. Iwould try this several times , no go!
If i wait for an hour or so (cools down) it will fire up right away like nothing was ever wrong with it for only a minute or so, then the same symptom appears!Help!

 

are you using a fuel filter?

 

just bought it ! it's all stock , no more than 5 hrs use when got it. i will have to check my manual regarding a fuel filter.

 

you probably ran it out of gas, check your tank
