I am doing the big bore 686 kit on my raptor. The head is in getting a Serdi valve job. I was thinking of starting off with 165 mains and needle on position 3. Is that larger enough main or should I go bigger.

Check with the guys who made your exhaust. They should have recommended settings.

 

I think I am going to try going up two sizes on the pilots to 32.5 and 165 and 170 on the mains with the needles at position #3.

What are you running with your 686 kit?

 

I just finished a Nos kit on my Rhino. Yee Ha I can do wheelies! Can what to get the Rapter finished and get both out to the dunes.

 

I'm running 25 pilots and 160/155 jets. But my exhuast is a it corked up. Depending on how free flowing your exhaust is, you'll like need something larger. 165 sounds like a good start, but 32.5 pilot is probably too much (IMHO).

 

I am running a stainless two steps monster exhaust system. I also have the K&N filter kit with the lid off my air box. I was running the 160/ 155 mains with the 27.5 pilots before the kit. I think I will got back to the 27.5 pilots but stay with the 165/170 mains. Thanks
