whats available to make a raptor 50 go faster? any tricks? any thing a guy can do with out buying anything?

 

well you could add pedals.

 

The only ways you will really get more speed out of the turtle is if you put it at the top of a hill or if you pull it with a bigger quad.

 

it has a max speed of 12. what did u expect.

 

a pipe and jet kit filter and a new cdi box would help as well as a clutch kit

 

12 is fine for starters now the kid is growing up

 

Time for a bigger ATV. You wont get much more out of a 50 without major modification. I think thats why there are so many different sizes of youth ATVs. I would move him up to something thats a bit too much for him and limit the throttle until he gets bigger. That way you will have longer before you have the same problem again.
