Not real sure which one to get been looking at them both, I may be pulling and hauling or pushing snow or riding in the snow, once in a great while, mostly riding in the woods by my house places where there are no trails, just running around in the woods, phone line trails, sometimes taking it to the state parks to ride real trails, not to concerened about going 80 but I don't want something to slow either, maybe a speed of 60 or 65 would be fine, Electric start, reverse, 4 stroke, so I'm just looking for an all around ATV, don't really want to spend more than 4,000, I'm about "59" 195Ibs, anyone have any idea which one would be better?

Those two quads are really different. If you are pushing snow get the Wolverine. The 350 Raptors are just for playing.

Making your own trails? Might want to get the 4X4

I bought a 07 Wolvy 450 for my girlfriend this spring brand new, otd, for $5,565, which was a steal as most wanted $6,200-$6,300. It was her first time riding anything, so the auto tranny, push button 4x4, tall tires, and lighter weight(she's 115lb. 5'3") than some big boy 4x's, was what led me to it. So far so good. We just put 115 miles on it in 3 days down at Hatfield-McCoy, WV. You wont get the 60-65mph out of it, maybe 55. but you'll never get the chance to go that fast in trails anyway, maybe some fire roads.
I don't know much about the raptor 350, may be a little small for your weight? Raptor is definetly a sport quad though, maual tranny, suspension, ground clearance, etc. The wolvy feels a littlle sporty to me when I ride it, but much taller and a little tipsy than a sport quad. You mentioned pushing snow, definelty won't be able to do that with the raptor as you'll need a winch/plow setup. I put a warn xt15 on her's for emergencies, but haven't needed it yet. Don't know if a raptor would go well in snow, the wolvy should do good, and the push button 4x is right next to thumb throttle and a sweet feature. I am sport quad guy, but am very happy with the wolvy as she has riden it everwhere I go, as a novice and hasn't complained once. It's powerful down low to get you through or climb anything.
The raptor will definetlety give you more snap, top end?, and a more sport quad ride, but won't be as versatile for some of the things you mentioned.

You should be able to find a Wolverine 450 for around 4500 NEW, I bought mine off Ebay from a dealer in Canton Ohio. I seen another one on Ebay in Minnisota. Dealers still have some 2007 models and their are a 200 dollar rebate on most 07's. Go for the Wolverine, I really like mine so far.

GET THE COMPRIMISE! go buy yourself a used Wolverine 350. that sounds exactly what my riding conditions are and a wolverine 350 will run like a warrior/raptor yet can tow a trailer or have a snow plow and the 4x4 is definatly more fun riding in the snow.... And with all the money you save over getting a 450 wolvy you can put some sick mods on your 350 which will make it haul, like mine does.

Definetly go with the wolverine because it will be able to do the sporty riding, along with being 4x4 so that you can pull larger loads and still get traction, push snow(on the raptor if you made a way to put a plow on it you would still end up spinning tires with much of a load on the plow.

Thanks to everyone for their answers, I'm thinking the wolverine too,.. just in case I need that stuff (huling, pushing and pulling, snow..) more often than I think at least it will be there, but if I had some modifications done to it I can always get more speed out of it right, I'm a little concerned about the acceccories available for the wolverine though, I heard there wasn't that much available for it. Anyone know if this is true?

Just wondering if you had it shipped to you from Canton Ohio, I'm looking at one right now from Ohio,, but they want 4500.00 for it to, not sure if it's the same dealer or not.
I live in Missouri though so I know shipping will depend on where it is going.
If so, how much was the shipping to get it to where you are?

Thanks everyone

Choppa, I picked mine up, it was only 150 miles away so I made a road trip of it, they wont ship. Another local dealer around here said the best he could do was around $4800. Id try dealing with your local Yamaha dealer and see what they will do. As far as aftermarket acc. their is plenty of stuff out and more will come, its a fairly new machine, 2006 waz the first year.
