#1
Picking up my new 08 Camo Grizz 700 tomorrow!
Can't wait!
I'm curious what you guys have used for skid plates for the grizz..
price and ease of installation
holes that line up for oil changes etc.
let me know
thanks

go with the candian version of the Yamaha skids if ya can... the ricochet ones work great on the 660's. They don't cover as much as the CND yami a-arm skids on the 700s though... (i unfortuately went with the US yami skids because I didn't know they were different at the time.)

My cousin put the Ricochet plates on his 700 Grizz after ripping a boot the second week he had it, (full body kit). They were pricy, but completely protect against just about anything we have thrown at it.

THere were no issues with the ricochets that we put on the 700's, naybe they made the changes in house prior the purchase?

I'm just guessing each one is just a lil different...
I always use to mix and match mine. I like the Ricochet belly skids (and rear bash plate) but I thought the yami a-arm guards protected more. The new 700 a-arms are really short though. (I have them) I really want to go with the canadian a-arm guards...
When I bought my 700, ricochet hadn't released skids for them yet... yami was the only ones... so I went with all yami this time...

I only found the canadian version online, and it seems they want to use canadian pricing too...
The dealer I bought the grizz from is gonna give me 20% off skids so I think I will just buy the american ones unless anyone knows elsewhere to look.
