Grizzly or Kodiak ??

Rjm,
I've ridden both and personally prefer the Kodiak. I like the fact that it's more nimble.
In order to determine which one is best for you, ask yourself what kind of riding you want to do, what you want the quad to do.

I have a Kodiak, my buddy has the Grizz. The Grizz is great for all out stump pulling power, but it ends there. It's like riding a jeep on the trails. It has one of the worst rides (comfort wise) I have ever been on. If your buying it for work power, it's the one, but if you're gonna be trail riding, go with the Kodiak. It's as nimble as they get, and provides a very comfortable ride.

I'd have to agree with the others, go fo rthe Kodiak unless haveing the biggest motor is the only consideration.
I have a Wolverine and can tell you from experience that, while a Grizz is very fast on smooth straight roads, once you get on a rougher trail or in the tight woods I can run away and hide. The grizz is just too heavy to be fun, and rides like an empty 5 tonn truck.
I'd still pick a Wolverine over a Kodiak, but I've never heard a Kodiak owner complain about his ride.

No way, go with the grizz, it has killer power and you don't have to worry about liquid cooling problems, it can work alot harder and looks like a tank, oh ya i have raced against a 2001 kodiak on fire roads and he could not loose me, and on the straights i was right up on his rear rack.
You want the strongest fastest most reliable macine around go with the GRIZZ, the overheating this is a joke. I have 2500 km's with not a hickup.
2000 Grizz
2500 km's.

i think it depends on your size, i can play around on my grizzly no problem, going sideways, flying through trails, if you are smaller, then maybe the kodiak is for you , with liquid cooling, but i like to have some power and speed on tap if i need to keep up with other people and not get embarrassed
