Default Cam for a Wolverine 450

I currently have 2004 Kodiak 450 with a webcam in it. I have really have noticed more top end. I also have it jetted and a HMF pipe
I really wish they would make a CDI box for the Kodiak, but no manufacturer makes one.

Default Cam for a Wolverine 450

On a straightway I can hit between 55-58 mph's, but I can definitely feel the power going up hills, and I have more pickup going around bends. I think it also helps that my bike is jetted, and piped. The part cost me $272. Now when it was all said and done my mechanic charged me 516.00. "It definitely a lot of money. I am happy with my purchase because if I would have went with a stroker kit it would have in the $1000's. I don't know eaxactly what Hot Cams charges for a cam, but they do not make a cam for the 2004 Kodiak 450.
I hope this helps.

yhea with just the 488 big bore kit, cam and port and polish I had a total of about 1300 including labor in my motor add the extra price of the stroker crank and labor and you would probably be at about 2000.00 for the 500 stroker kit

I got charged 500 in labor for the sleeve replacement case work, p&p and cam swap.

The parts and labor on mine for the cam, springs, port, polish and shave came to $550.00. A bargain from what I can tell, I love it.
