Default Big Bear Oil Change

This is probably a simple question for most, but better to ask and do it right.
I have a '89 Big Bear. I am in the process of changing the oil. So far I removed the drain plug in the crankcase. I also removed the drain plug from what I believe is the transfer case. I have some info as to how much oil to put back in the engine and transfer case, but my question is where to fill the transfer case at.
There is a hex nut /plug on the side, but it is almost horizontal. I was figuring this is where to fill it at. Is there any way to check the oil level? I don't see a way. Also, the info. I have says use 10W-40.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I dont know on an 89 but here's some advice for the future. Dont drain any oil or fluids until you know where to add new fluid and check to make sure you can add fluid.
For example, you may drain oil from a differential and then find out the bolt/plug you have to remove to add fluid is stripped or siezed on and you cant remove it to add new fluid. So you should always take that bolt out first before you remove the drain plug.
