Why does it have two carbs and why are the carbs jetted different. I plan on putting in some richer jets when I get mine, and I'm staying stock. I ride at about 3500 feet elevation, and I'm thinking 150 155 and a 25 pilot. What do you guys think?

The 400ex that I used to have was very easy to jet, could do the main in five minutes. I put a 155 in that thing and it ran great, stock. My nephew had one too and his ran to rich with a 152, stock. I guess every engine is different, what will work for one may not work for the other.

1 carb feeds two valves the other just one.

I had a Honda XL 600 off/on road motor bike with two carbs and it was for better and smoother throttle responce from low end to top end.

The Raptor has 3 intake valves, and I guess one single carb couldn't have fed it with enough high rpm flow and keeping a decent lowend. Having 2 carbs $ucks when you have to work on them , but when it works...it works!
