Yesterday, I got called into a meeting at the end of the day and they said there sending me to cali for Two weeks!!! I can't wait!! I want to go and see the legendary Glamis...I will be in Irvine. Anyone know how long the drive is from there. Can you rent atv's out there? I'm gonna have a weekend all to myself. I wouldn't mind hittin' 'em dunes. Otherwise, it's gonna be the club scene. Any attractions that I might wanna see...thanks all

I've never seen anyone renting ATV'S @ Glamis, But if you venture up the coast about 4 Hrs to Pismo Beach they rent ATV"S. The business is called BJ's ATV. Check in the classified adds in the back of a Dirt Wheels mag as there listed there.

Hello everyone,

Just like EricsRaptor, I will be visiting California in the summer, to see my girlfriends cousin and I too would like to see Glamis. Can you tell me how far Sacromento is from Glamis.

Thanks,

IronBear

Glamis is about 10-14 hours from Sac. Sorry. I live about 2 hours north of Sac and it's about a 15-17 hour drive to Glamis. The closest dunes from Sac would be up in Oregon at Coos Bay or Winchester Bay, that's where they have Sand Fest every summer. That's about an 8-9 hour drive.

Ah Bartman,

I beg to differ... Pismo Beach would be closer than Coos Bay. Pismo from Sacramento is only aprox. 6hrs.
