Okay, I hope some of you guys will help me out. I changed my oil and in the process, took off my skidplate. I rode my quad just a little with the skip plate off. After parking it in garage, something seemed to be missing.

I rode back through a field and found that I had dropped this http://www.metalcraft-ar15.com/hose.jpg off of it. I know it was located somewhere on the left hand side by the front sprocket, but I don't know what it hooks into. The piece on the end is a one-way valve or some sort of pressure by-pass allowing air or something to go out, but not in.

Sorry for such a silly question, I should know where this goes, but seem to be missing it.

Thanks in advance.

Oh, ps... I had someone pace me, side by side in a new truck, and my Raptor runs 72 MPH down a slight grade, everything stock but the removal of the baffle. It may have had just a tad more left, but at that point, I couldn't feel it pulling any higher. I think opening the airbox and rejetting will help on top some.

That is the drain tube that is attached to the bottom of the carb.

Like Kyraptor said, it's the carb drain tube. I have lost one of mine already, probably from assembly-disassembly. I'll bet 3-4 mph could be gained on top with the snorkle removed, baffle removed, and proper jetting. Or you could have laid down so far your eyes could barely peep over the tank. Yeah...that would get 3-4 mph.
