Default Thread help on oil plug raptor 700 !!!!!!

Hello, can someone please direct me in the right direction.I have a raptor 700 and when i was changing the oil when i went to put the plug back in the threads inside were stripped, being that it's aluminum i didnt even notice i was cross threading it.Is there any easy way to fix this,I was told to use a heli coil but its not the best fix,nor is it permanent,Is'nt there a self tapping plug that i can buy thats a little bigger then the OEM plug???? thanks in advance.

i would take the bolt to a automotive store and find a tap with the same thread pattern and chase the threads to put them back where they belong that should fix it

make sure you get both a tap and a die. you can't do just one you have to do the bolt and hole.

no problem i found that out the hard way lol. fix a bolt and end up striping it out again because the threads in the hole didn't match.
