Hello,

I would like to get both of my machines insured. Can anyone give me a reputable company? And what are the premiums for Fire/Theft and damage?

Thank You,

I have all of my other insurance (Cars, Home, Liability Umbrella) with State Farm. I shopped most of the specialty insurers for ATV coverage & they could not beat State Farm's rates. I found the same situation while insuring PWCs a couple of years ago. I think I pay about $120 / year for full coverage & $500 deductible.

I'd shop around but I'm going to assume you'll find the best deal with whoever handles the rest of your coverage (unless they don't cover ATVs).

That is usually the best advice, to go to whoever has your insurance already. I have State Farm too I pay about 250 a year for full coverage [theft, fire, and collision] with a 250 deductible. Collision came in handy when my Banshee got flipped. They paid out right away and I only had the quad a few weeks when the accident happened.

Shop, Shop, Shop. Insurance companies sometime put toy's into catagories, so you pay more or less depending on who, what, where, when etc...
and driving records count.

I pay $168 annual with 500 deductable on two drivers, injury, theft, damage, liability, you know the basic package. I was surprized that a passanger is also covered, yet you are not suppose to have passingers????? Nothing was said about helmets either??? So I guess they figure it in or they think of it as a motorcycle, snowmobile, or boat.

Good Luck,

I think mine's like 80 dollars a year..500 dollar deductible. Crash ,bike is fixed(pro-rated). Theft the bike is paid off(6500.00) worth. I can't remember if there is medical reimbursment...they specialize in off-road insurance...I'll find out the name.

I have heard that state farm will raise your car rates also if you run a claim for a collision on your qaud. Is this true.

Progressive on a Raptor
$168/year w/$500 deductible for comprehensive (everything except that which I do to it is covered). I crash it - I pay. It was ~$250 if I got collision. Since I intend to run some XC races, and that is the most likely place where I would crash, I declined the collision.
