Default raptor 250

my 300ex is a 1996 almost completelys stock and with 22's it will run 65 mph on a straight stretch, raptor 350 will do 75 easy it is geared perfrect. i way 210 and am 15, and i love the 300ex, but i prefer my trail boss 250 it will only do 43 but it is excellent, and on the trails the 300ex cant run with it.

ok, you posted the same thing like 8 times, and you're wrong 8 times. A stock 300ex tops out at 55, raptor 350 stock might touch 65. Where are you kids coming up with these numbers?

Well yeah, the raptor 250 has been in dealerships for all of 3 months, it'll be a few more before you start seeing any real aftermarket support for them.

Not sure how you found parts for a raptor 400, there's no such thing.

You will find all kinds of parts for the raptor 350 though, because all those parts just carried over from the warrior. The warrior was in production for 18 years so a lot of aftermarket support developed for it, if it wasn't for that the raptor 350 wouldn't have half the stuff that's available for it.

I wouldn't worry too much about aftermarket stuff for a 250 anyways. It's just not cost effective to modify them, other than maybe a better set of tires and some basic bolt ons, you're just wasting money that would be better spent on upgrading to a new machine. My suggestion is to get the 250, ride it for 3 years or so and keep it mostly stock, and then when you start getting tired of it and you are comfortable with your riding skills, then trade it in for one of the bigger machines like a z400 or even a raptor 700.

I'm telling you man, for sure, 100% sure, no exceptions, if you say i'm wrong you're a fool. Top speed of a raptor 350 is 65. The only way a stock raptor 350 is going to hit 75 is on a trailer or in the back of a truck. Ask anyone that owns one and has a shred of intelligence. Raptor 700's and the 450's are the only stock machines in production that can hit 75 out of the box, and they just barely touch the mid 70's.

I'm not sure exactly what you have in mind by parts. I don't know what's available right now, but i'm sure within a few months, if they're not out already, you'll start seeing slip-on exhausts from the major companies like HMF, FMF, Big Gun, and all them. It takes a while for the aftermarket companies to develop and sell products after a machine is released, but I can tell you right now that within a couple years the raptor 250 will have more aftermarket support than any other quad in it's class, because it's way ahead of them in performance to begin with.
