Default Labor price?

I am not handy with carb. work and was wondering what people are paying a stealer to put on a slip on pipe, change air filter, and do rejet. I know it's not to hard, I just like being able to go back to someone if it's not right!

Thanks
Leigh

I pay my stealer $45 an hour. It should take about 2 hours to do your job. If you know what a wrench is you should be able to do the filter and pipe yourself and just get them to rejet it and save yourself some $$$$$$.

I agree, put the pipe and filter on, and let them do the jetting.

I was thinking the same thing after looking at the filter and pipe portion. I'll do that myself then have the stealer do the re-jet. Now whats this wrench thing

I would definetly put the pipe on and the filter and let them rejet the carb if your not comfortable doing it yourself. With a dynojet kit you get instructions on how to do it and really all you need is a allen key to loosen the clamps on the carb boots a phillips screwdriver to remove the float bowl and a flat head screwdriver to remove and reinstall the new jets.

Like ctateusa1 said, if you buy the Dynajet kit it will come with instructions on EXACTLY what to do. The only tuning you will have to do is turn a screw on the carb for air mixture. The instructions will tell you how to set this screw for your application.

if you put it on without rejetting your quad will blow up, so hopefully you aren't near it when it explodes...hahaha, j/k it prolly won't start/run...not to mention if it does and it's lean you'll blow your motor...someone posted a link to an awesome guide that pretty much tells you exactly how to jet a quad...i'll look and see if i can find it
