well what the hell should i put in my old 88 warrior, because it seems silly to pay that much for oil but i have noticed issues with my clucth; should i use yamalube or is something else as comperable???

Don,t even think Yamalube is a Synthetic oil so its defiantly the the best stuff out there. Many full synthetic oil are for wet clutches such as Amsoil and Mobile1.

i told my neighbor as you can use whatever oil you want but if it is not yamalube make sure it is an API rating of SG and not SL.

I use Yamalube AllPurpose Motorcycle/ATV 10w40 oil in my 660 Raptor.

The dealers say you can use other oils that are rated the same, but do not use synthetic in the engine. Apparently the crankcase and UltraMatic bearing share the same oil. They say if you use synthetic it is basically too slippery which would be good for the engine but not good for the special bearing in the drive clutch.

yea i told to him to just spend the extra money and get yamalube i dunno if he did or not but that's on him.
