Oil for Pro Design Filter on my Raptor
#1
I installed the Pro Design filter on my Raptor without any problems. Since I had bought some Yamaha filter oil for my stock air filter when I purchased my Raptor, I went ahead and oiled the ProDesign filter with it.
Afterwards I noticed a few spots were gumed up on the surface. I got rid of as much excess oil as I could, but these gumed spots remained. Is this normal? Should I be using a differnet oil? Will they restrict air flow?
I rode it today briefly and didn't notice any degradation in performance. Haven'e jetted it 'cause I'm waiting on the Dynojet kit...
Any feedback you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

that oil will work fine, although I have had very good luck with bel ray filter oil.
Here is a helpful hint
put about 3 tablespoons of oil in a plastic bap, scrunch the bag around so it covers the whole inside of the bag, then put your filter in the bag and swirl it all around. take out the filter and dab off any excess oil with a clean rag.
