oil light on 2003 Blaster

My brother has a 2003 blaster and the oil light is now coming on when he is at idle speeds then off once he is running again .. any help as to what to check or has this happened to any one else????

my brother has an 06 blaster same thing happens to him the yamaha dealer just said it just comes on when it wants. just make sure the levels in the tank are good and you will be fine.

oil light on 2003 Blaster

I would just connect the oil setup. Just mix the 2 stroke oil with the gas. It worked on my blaster. If you would do this the oil light will just stay on all the time.
