thanks but still hows the acceleration</end quote></div>
Warrior, six speed; very fast on the low side of the gears. I can outrun Polaris Predator 500's and Suzuki Z-400's through 3rd gear, if you want to talk about acceleration on a Warrior. Once you get to fifth and sixth it is a slow climb, but its not often you will be running WOT top speed anyway. If you are wanting a good bike to ride on trails, and in the woods, with great response on the bottom end, the Warrior is the way to go.

They do fine in sand, just get a good set of tires. It doesn't go 75, I got it up to to 70.7mph. My mods are listed in my page (click on the camera under my ID). I put right at about $1000 into the motor, after I gave $1400 for the quad.

Yeah stock a Blaster will run about 55 mph. A stock Warrior will run about 58 mph. They both accelerate about the same. The Blaster may jump out front off the line but not by much.
And more about this 260 kit. I've never heard of a Blaster 260 kit. I've heard of a 240 kit. A Blaster bored 60 over does not make it a 260. It takes a lot to make a Blaster beat a stock Warrior. My buddy put a pipe, filter, jetkit, reed spacer, and degree key on his Blaster just to be even with a stock Warrior.

You should be able to get a '98-01 model Warrior for $1700. I paid $1200 for my '97 model 2 years ago. Don't get ripped off!

If you know how to shift fairly well id go with the blaster for the summer. If you can shift right they will run forever. But in the winter? From my personal experience blasters dont go worth nothing in the snow. Ive got new Itp holeshots on my blaster and it didn't go very good.

You'd be much better of with the warrior. Stock for stock it is more powerful, it will better accomodate your size, it's got real nice low end power, and they're tanks, the blaster is a 2 stroke so you will be working on it more, it is slower than a Warrior and not your best bet. I got my 2000 Warrior for 1600 and it came with a full pro circuit exhaust that goes for about 500 bucks, a jetted carb, ac front bumper and more. You can get a stock 01 or 02 for 1500 or 1600. The quad itself is a great "bang for the buck" because it's cheap and will probably outlive the average quad. There are still many late 80's early 90's Warriors still running like the 2000 warriors.
