Banshees?

Well...Over the years, I have spent money and time doing upgrades to the suspension and stance.
..But I liked the bike in stock form. It tends to seem a bit nose heavy and slightly under powered on the bottom end. After a while these problems go away as you learn to deal with it and work that clutch.
As long as you don't mind changing some plugs, cleaning the filter and keeping everything lubed and in check, you will love your banshee too.
For me:
HITs: Big time power band,
Comfortable,
Sounds mean,
Gets you there in a hurry
MISSes:Chain adjustment,
Low end power delivery,
Stock tires,
Air filter assembly,
Range (eats fuel),
sometimes touchy jetting depending on conditions,
Slightly nose heavy
Hope this helps.

would putting on some 1 inch forward a-arms partly solve that noseheavy problem? Or maybe some 1 inch down 2 inch back foot pegs? I read somewhere that the 1 inch forward a-arms actually make the front end seem lighter, but would that mess up the handling with the longer wheelbase? Im still deciding if i want to dump all my money into my blaster or save it and put it towards a banshee and modify that.

I Love my banshee. I love owning a bike that has unlimited potential through the aftermarket. I love the smell of a two stroke. I spend so much time with it my wife sometimes feels neglected.
Anyway...I have mainly done motor mods and think my shee handles fine although after riding my brothers raptor I may do some suspension mods soon!

For me...I have no desert or long fire roads. So I went with the extended +1 forward arms (LSR) and a -1 swingarm... To answer your question...It is no longer nose heavy and jumps like a dream. I have works shocks all the way around which take care of the bumps. And the round housing swingarm takes care of any chain adjustment problems I might have had in the past.
Good luck with your banshee if you go that route.
This is a picture of the Blaster next to the banshee....I tried to go the mod route with the blaster...But it still does not compare...It's a tuff call. I feel that a modded banshee will hold it's value a bit better than the blaster.
