Default 2008 250 raptor?

I have a 9 year old boy weho has out grown his 90cc Dinili. I kow the 250 raptor is alot of quad for him but i have faith in his abilities thus far. We just came back for mthe dunes and I had let him ride my 450R for awhile. He obviously held back big times but he really didn't do that bad he was jumping with it swung the *** end around to hit the jump agiain.

I would get the 250 raptor for him in a heart beat until I just read that it doesn't come with reverse. That throws a damper on things { aT LEAST i think it does}

Just wondering if any of you all are in my predicament? Do i PULL THE TRIGGER OR NOT?????

Yes, pull the trigger.

The no reverse thing will be a hassle for the first few rides, until your kid learns to stop the ATV so that he can restart in a forward direction. It takes a while for them to figure out that they cant back up, but they do catch on. Our 11 year old is doing fine on his Raptor 250, and I rarely have to help him push his quad back to turn around any more. He is used to his KTM 65 SX dirt bike though, and it doesn't have reverse either, so he adapted pretty quick.

Do it. I rode one at the Yama shop and I want one. Not the fastest by any means, but it's a damn wheelie machine. Real fun. And only 4 grand new.
