Raptor 660 No Fire?

If the stator has a short, disconecting the regulator makes it run again... if you already replaced your stator, either the new one is bad too (which I have heard of before) or your problems is elsewhere... tell me your symptoms, what you've done and tested, etc.

Few weeks ago took it to the sand, ran great for a while, but when we turned it off to rest it wouldn't start back up (dead battery, but is strange because I always charge them) So we popped the clutch to satrt it, got it going and hightailed back to camp. It seemed hot so we rested few hours until it got dark. This time it fired right up, but as soon as we took off from camp, it backfired and just died and had the symtom of a dead battery again. Riding for the 350 was done. Brought it home, put battery tender back on, few days later tried starting, wouldn't start.
Checked plug, no spark. Swapped out my parts with friends' 350. 1st the ignition coil......good, then the rectifier, still good, even swapped out the CDI box.....still good. So i figued.....it's has to be the stator. Just put it in tonight, but now still no spark. I'm running a Denso iridium plug, so I put the stock back on, but still no spark....... I'm stumped!

It is possible that the first failure (that still allowed you to run when pull starting) and the current failure (no spark) are unrelated... they almost must be, as you did get spark with a pull start. Also, your stator was not at fault, if you were getting spark before.
I'm not a 350 expert, but you need fuel, spark (at the right time), air and compression to make your engine run. If you currently have no spark, and you've changed out all of the major electrical components, I'd start looking at something more basic like a failed run/stop switch or associated wiring. The switch (at least on my 660) gets gunked up once in a while, and needs a good disassembly and cleaning with contact cleaner (like from Radio Shack) to return it to proper operation.
You haven't fully explained whether your inability to crank the starter has been resolved.

It cranks over......I switched out the battery from my 700 , and it cranks over, just no spark. I started thinking maybe both of my spark plugs were bad, so I put the 700 plug in the boot and grounded it, yet still no spark. Tomorrow I'm just going to go through the wires and check for breaks or a grounding out issue, though it's still possible the new stator is faulty...........

On the 660, if the run/kill switch is in kill setting (don't run), the starter won't crank over either. However, on my Honda 400ex's it will... which way is it on your 350? If it can still crank normally, just not start when you have the kill sw in kill position, i'd seriously look at the switch as cause of no spark.
