RAPTOR PIPE woes
#1
Hey guys stilll waiting for my jet kit from white bros..in the meantime i have a problem. I want to ride this sat. but i checked my plug and i am running lean. The plug is white with tiny spots of tan. I really want to ride this weekend. i had a white bros e-series pipe put on by the dealer but of course it wasn't done right. I called white bros and they said that rejetting wasn't necessary. The dealer said they made an external adjustment to the carb. What did they do? turn the air screw? My question is there anything i can do to correct this problem before the weekend aside getting the jets? Is it dangerous to keep riding it like this? I am running 13 discs

If you go down to 10 or 11 discs it will richen it up. Try 11 1st then 10 if still too lean. I did this until I got the headpipe and finally rejetted it and it work great. That is the nice thing about the e-series you can add or remove the discs to lean and richen the bike!
hope this helps!

i just put a white brothers e- series slip on on my raptor the other day and it runs good, sounds good, but when you're running about a quarter to half throttle and punch it wide open it will cut out badly. i'm thinking it's to lean but haven't checked my plug yet. it will only do it when you punch it. any other time it runs fine. any help is appreciated.

my system came with 12 discs. i checked my plug today and it has carbon deposits on it and the porcelin is light brown on the bottom and about half way up it is white. the electrode is black and around the bottom is black also. i can't figure out what is wrong.
