YAMAHA WARRIOR 360
#22
1st of all, a 360 is not considered a big bore. 2nd of all, I think trying to make a Warrior fast is a waste of time and money. I learned the hard way, I had about $5,000 in my Warrior, it was still not fast enough to brag about, and when I sold it I practically had to give it away for $2,000. Nobody wants to buy these machines anymore, especially if they are all modded out. The only people you see riding the Raptor 350 are girls. So my advice is to just ride the Warrior like it is and sell it when you get tired of it and get something faster. Or just sell the Warrior now before you're in too deep and get a 400EX or a Z400.

thanks for the advice raptor450
now i'll probably just port and polish
the head before my dad and i put
it back together. Ride it for a while
then sell it and buy a banshee or
cr250 for around 2grand
(yes i know i won't get 2grand for my warrior)

Good idea on the banshee. You spend $1000 on a warrior and you still dont have much but you put that $1000 in a banshee and your buddies better be wearing their goggles when they race you.Or just get the cr and you wont have to worry about mods.

Their was one thing i would want to get for my warrior before i sell it .
A kit which includes a k&n air filter, outerwears cover,
and dyno jet kit. Does anyone have any experience
with this kit. Is it worth getting?

A Warrior does come alive some with a slip-on, and the mods you listed. Get some 20" rear tires and go to a 14 tooth front sprocket if you're looking for more speed and you will have a decent running Warrior. Those mods are worth getting if you will have the Warrior for a while.

Oh I was talking about the powerpack kit with the filter, jet kit, and outerwears. I had a Warrior with those mods plus the slip-on that ran pretty good. Then I had another Warrior with those mods plus the slip-on, JE 10.5:1 366 cc piston, and a .430" Webcam that ran real good, but if I were you I would not go any further than the slip-on and the powerpack kit.
