Default Raptor 700r suspension

I have been looking at both and it seems the only thing they changed between 07 and 08 is the suspension,or am I missing something else??

The 08 has..[Front]Independent double wishbone w/piggy back High-/Lo-speed compression, rebound and threaded preload adjustment, 9.1-in travel

[rear]Cast aluminum swing arm w/rebound, High-/Lo-speed compression and threaded preload adjustment, 10.1-in travel

The 07 is..[Front]Independent double wishbone, 9.1" w/5-way preload adjustment

[rear]Cast aluminum swingarm, 10.1" w/rebound, compression and threaded preload adjustment

I'm asking because my local dealer has a 07 on sale for about $700.00 cheaper than the 08..Is that better suspension worth getting the 08??And what is Lo-Speed compression??is it like dual or triple rate sprigs or something??

Go for the '07 and save the 7 bones. You can get brand new take off shocks for under $250.00 and have the same thing there. The hi and lo speed compression adjusters let you fine tune how much compression the valving gives you. With the capability to change both you can make the shock softer for the smaller hits but firm it up a bit more for big jumps and such. It isn't the same thing as having dual or triple rate springs, but you do get some of the same effect.
