ok IF I HAVE A RAPTOR 350 and my friend has a cr 125 with all these mods do u think i could take it on a 1/8-1/4 mile drag if i added these mods to a raptor 350?... wht would u say if i got a jet kit for it, k & n air filter, better reeds, big gun evo x exhaust, bigger piston, a smaller rear and a bigger front sprocket(for more top end) and a stage 3 hot cam??? then wht would u say??.. do u think i could take the cr 125 then??

 

It just wouldn't be worth it to spend the money on a raptor 350 to try and beat a cr125. The raptor 350 is a nice mild trail machine.

If you have unlimited funds you would be better off buying a cr250 to take care of that pesky cr125.

 

its my friend tht has the cr 125 i dont ride dirtbikes i ride quads.. but u dont think i could take it seriously?

 

please listen to me don't do that to your raptor. I was going to add more parts
to my warrior (same engine) until I read some of this crap on here on how this
one guy put a 446fst big bore kit on his warrior and a bunch of other things and
the warrior still only went 72mph. so i got wise and decided to find a banshee
for around the same amount of money as i wanted to stick into my warrior.
Now i'll let my step dad have my warrior and i'll drive the banshee. The reason
I want to get a banshee is so i can beat my friends atvs.

So bottom line is that you should keep your raptor the way it is now, keep it,
and the money you were going to spend on your parts save up and get a cheep
banshee.
please don't stick your money into your raptor unless you want to waste
your money and still have nothing to show for it

please someone else tell him that its not worth sticking your money into the
raptor 350

 

IF YOU DROP YOUR 350 OFF A CLIFF IT WOULD BEAT THE CR 125 TOP SPEED. HA HA HA! TAKE THE ADVICE FROM THE EARLIER GUY. MAYBE YOUR REALLY PROUD OF YOUR RAPTER BUT IT WILL ALWAYS BE SLOW. FOR ABOUT $4500-$5000 YOU CAN GET A DECENT BANSHEE THAT SHOULD COMPETE WITH THE 125.

 

The answer is a big NO!! When you start spending $$$ to modify just to win a drag race is border-line completely silly... Please don't waste your money.. is it REALLY that important to beat your Friend in a drag? I am sure you are a kid / teenager - so you have the need / desire to beat your friends.. but at what cost? You start heavily modifying that Warrior... next thing you know it the thing is junk because you are putting that much extra stress on all the components, etc..

Dirtbikes will win the battle ALL DAY LONG

Do use all a favor and don't spend $$$$ on that Warrior..
