I got a 06 700 and it got the basic upgrades the Dr. D full exhaust, K&N Intake kit, and the Dobeck EFI. I was wondering if there are any other performance upgrades out there that will give me a boost in power without going all out and getting the big bore kit. Any advice would be appreciated. Just adding a cam and piston makes a big difference.

Against a buddy of mine, his having a new cam and piston he could get me by 2 to 3 lengths.

I would get with Steve at TQS (Tech Quad Shop) and see what the most popular package is.

 

change the spocket(s). what do you want, more top speed or better acceleration?
i went down 2 teeth in the back and it made a BIG difference in top speed. haven't gotten checked on the radar yet since upgrades but i know its faster from racing friends.

 

cam, piston. +2mm throttle body bore. ingestion system.


btw there is a new intake made by fci that will boost hp up big time even if you already have a intake system. i whould say it will give you atlest 3hp over the trinity intake. it will be out very soon and only cost about 200.

 

Honestly.... Get rid of it & buy a dirtbike. I promise you the money you can sink into a quad to make it faster you can literally purchase a dirtbike, which smokes quads.

 

stick with the 700 it looks better than a dirtbike and more stable
