I'm pretty sure that is normal. As long as the tank is full you shouldn't have a problem. I don't have that problem since I rewired my blaster and took off the injection system.

It comes on for like 15-20 seconds when you start it up then fades out, and just every now and then it will flicker, come on, go out, a coule times, the tank is full.... I just figured it was normal.. no wonder they are always burnt out!

A good friend of mine had a Blaster that did the same thing, except his light finally stayed on. The dealer replaced the sending unit in the oil tank and it fixed it. Soon after that, he removed the tank and started pre-mixing his fuel. He just didn't trust his engine to a light.

All the light does is tell you if there is oil in the tank. It has nothing to do with if the pump is actually working. The pump could fail and the light would never come on. It is just there to remind people to keep oil in the tank. Mine burnt out some time ago. And yes the oil pump is reliable.

Yeah Im not going to take the oil inj out or anything like that, Im not worried about it failing, just was wondering if the flickering light was a common thing and now I see it is.. Im still kind of amazed, I love this thing! got a little frost bite on my cheeks from riding yesterday, first day got a flat Are the stock front tires cheng shen? Took me a while to get the hang of starting it, wore my leg out the first day kicking it over like a mad man, tried kicking it over slow without holding the clutch or gas and it fired right up... odd.. the other one you had to give it the gas big time and kick like crazy... I like it! no more jump starting!

Hey dirt817, what do you have for front brakes? I have been racking my brain, trying to figure out what to do about the fronts. Banshee spindles?. Honda spindles (250R or 400EX)? How did you do it, and what did you use?
