Default Part specs?

I am looking for the LH cam bearing spec for a Warrior..an '03. Yamaha PN is: 93306-00515-00. Sometimes part numbers include the ID/OD/length and type..but not this part number.

I'm sure I could get this bearing from a local bearing shop (dealer doesn't have it) if I had the specifications..and, as you may have guessed...I need it NOW!!!

Thanks!!

Oh...Alba doesn't have one, either.

**edit**

I called WebCams. EXCELLENT folks.

1. They are sending me a bearing.
2. It IS a 6005!! Their NTN #: 6005-LL BC3/2AS

yeah... i wonder if that guy ever figured it out. i think cuting it welding it on and splicing it together would be the easiest.

Re: Did I google it.

Yep.

Nowhere did I find out that it's a 25x47 2RS bearing.

A local bearing shop said that it being a 6005 doesn't mean it has a .9843" ID, though....AND that Yamaha (like Kaw) does indeed use bearings that are 'off' when compared to general, one-each, off the shelf bearings.

After getting that response from a bearing distributor, I called WebCams back and asked them to put a red label on it.

The bearing is still in the head...but I don't know that it will survive a dis-assy. Sometimes they come off easily...sometimes they're stuck.

It's all a crap-shoot anyway. The intent is to replace the bearing (obviously bad..I can move it with my fingers when valve spring pressure is off of it) for a scheduled ride this weekend.

I realize I may (likely will) find far more wrong than 'just' a bearing when I take it apart...but the bearing being bad is what I know about it now..and as much as I'll be able to resolve in the next 24 hours.

The question, 'Why did it fail?' is pertinent, but I have no answer for it.

Obviously, you gotta wonder what the lobe facing looks like when the cam has been running 'less than straight' due to a sloppy bearing. Suffice to say 'Not good.'

Hopefully good enough for this weekend!!
