there might be a hot wire from your selector that is grounding out on the frame or crossing another wire.

could this also be caused by a bad ground......i had that small wire that goes from the front to the rear from that front cluster burn up...i replaced all that i thought was bad a nd it worked for one ride then started to pop fuses again...also what size fuse is that supposed to have(amps)??
thanks

I think ryankentocc is right. sounds like a hot wire is touching metal or another wire somewhere.when that one wire burnt up did it burn any other wires?

I would have to look on mine to see how many amps it is but if u have your old fuse on the metal part it should have a # of amps it is. But if u don't i'll look at mine a lil later and get back atcha

ok...no resolve yet...found ground that goes to front of atv and connectes at connector by forks no connected good so fixed that...reconnected all and still blowing fuses..took all conectors that come from handlebars and connect at fork area and connected one by one...all is ok until i connect the one that the start switch and headlight controlo is connected to...and it blows is traced all the wires and all look good....does anybody know if you can bypass fuse or bad idea?
also anyone know where i can get a electrical diagram

****side notes*****

no headlights
no brake light
indicator for what gear your in is also gone
so all that is tape off
and i have ridin it with all that gone
thanks
