Default I Need Some Help

My 16 YO son was riding my Kodiak 400 and rolled it. The end result was the thumb throttle broken off. Is there any way to replsce just the thumb portion or do I have to buy an entire throttle assembly? Also as he was riding he crossed numerous streams and went through a lot of mud, now the machine has no power, I assume the belt is slipping; is there something else possibly wrong that I dont know about. He broke the throttle early in the ride and made do with the end of a bungee and some tape but the lack of power happened after he had been through water and mud.
I am looking to replace the belt, and fix the trottle before I give him some additional instruction on riding with the wheels on the ground.
Thanks

Make sure that your components are kleen from mud such as your airfilter and intake. a lack of air getting in can sometimes be the problem.
