question on piston ring size
#1
I purchased a 2000 warrior that smoked I tore down the head and jug because I could see in the exhuast port the valve seal was leaking it was wet. It actually turned out the valve guide was broke. While I have it apart I would like to replace the rings how do I know what to get size wise? The cylinder and piston look great. Any help would be great thanks Jason.

If the piston has ever been replaced, there should be the over-size marked on the top of it (ie. 0.25, 0.50, etc - which is measured in milimeters - mm) - although a Wiseco piston will have the part# stamped into it, determining the size in this #. Standard size on the 350 is 83.00 mm. You may have to measure the piston skirt with a caliper to find your size - if the caliper only reads inches, multiply the inch size by 25.4 to come up with the mm size.
Wiseco rings only fit Wiseco pistons.

You have a Wiseco piston - - 4419 is the model (fits Warrior, Wolverine, Big Bear/Moto 4, and the Kodiak 400)
08300 is the bore size - 83.0 mm, so you are running a Standard sized piston -
You will have to buy Wiseco rings to fit it.
