I heard banshees are the most beat on quads because people are always pushing their limits, either buy new or look for one is excellent condition and buy it cuz it will go fast. Good luck

You need to first ask yourself just what do you plan on doing with your quad before you decide on which one to buy.

What type of riding will you be doing?

I was unfortunate enough to buy a basketcase banshee, I also did not have a clue about 2-strokes, tell ya what, you learn pretty damn fast with a banshee... Long story short, a big headache and a big loss of money... got to ride it for about 10 minutes before it siezed, http://www.geocities.com/yamahabanshee96/right.jpg that is what the engine looked like. Now I have a blaster and I love it, at least one this thing I have the option of going slow...

If you buy a used quad; I highly recommend that you bring it by a prefessional to take a look at the quad. With the DS650 & especially the Raptor there are great deals of new quads, so don't rule that out...
