BB full exhaust, pro design filter with the lid still on 165, 170 jets and 27.5 pilots. just took it out and ran it, felt flat on top and it stuttered for just a millisecond every once and a while in the higher RPMs and backfired just a little while coasting in second. Pulled the plug and the electrode was pretty clean, a little to clean actually. Is it possiable that i am still to lean? Should i try a 175, 180, or just go for a 180, 185. This is really getting old

What does pretty clean mean? All light brown...somewhat light brown...black with light spots... Why not jet the carbs too rich and work your way back down before you lean the motor out? When you get the mains in and check the plug after a full throttle run (followed be cutting the ignition off and coasting to a stop), if the plug is sutty black or very black, you have finally found the "RICH SIDE". Now you can work your way down till the plug is the correct color. Later.

I like how you are always coming into the Polaris forum telling us about our POS's, and now your having problems with your POS, I love it.

Heres the deal. if its lean enough to be back firing its way lean and should go up to the 180-185. it should run good there.
