I know you hate snorkels Mack but if your going to go into big holes full on, you've got to do it. It really takes the "swamping" blues away.
I don't like the way it looks either but the Yami dealer told me about the possibilities of water when you go diving and I'm not sorry I put one on.

I agree Head, I swamped my belt drive ONCE, Never agian.. the next weekend I made my snorkle... the verdict is still out as to whether or not I snorkle the rest of the quad (Air intake and Rear Belt Drive)
Is that a 5 Gallon gas jug you got on their? I have a 2 gallon one in a milk crate on my back rack...

Yes I'm considering the engine air intake and belt drive exhaust as well. Then all I will have to come up with is a easy on/off stainless steel exhaust pipe extender.
The gas can is a 2 1/2 gal can and now it resides in the rear carrier bracket I fabricated which is mounted behind the seat/cargo box.

Mack,
My snorkle comes off in about 10 minutes and I made a cap for the "hood" piece because the Mainiacs do not allow snorkled quads... ILLEGAL...
