TTR 125

alright, so i was ridin my ttr 125 on track and as i came around one of the turns i hear this loud click and then the bike stalls. i look down and i notice the chain has come off. So i think to myself "alright, no big deal" wen i get back to the garage i try to put the chain back on but the chain won't move at all. i pull as hard as i can but still wont budge. i even tried with a crow bar and that didn't even get it unstuck. i made sure it was in neutral and the gear that the chain is on just wasn't bugging at all. i was just wandering.. is that gear is actually supposed to move when its in neutral? if so.. why won't it move? how can i get it unstuck?

Did the chain get all bunched up by the front sprocket? If so hopefully you didn't crack the engine case - though you would have known... oil would have been on the ground... You will most likely need to remove the chain guard up front and even possibly the front sprocket. Usually the sprockets are held on by 2 bolts and a "key" that rotates off to unlock the sprocket.
To answer one of your questions, Yes the front sprocket should rotate freely if the bike is in neutral.

hehe I had a TTR225 once,God I hated that bike..It was so ugly under powered and had crap suspension, but was a nice bike to learn to ride on for my wife..I see the new ones now look much better..I really dident take a good look at them, but they look very improved..
