i think catv is in the process of switching over so i guess we'll see

 

My sheave should be back from Hauck and in my hands tomorrow. Ill let you know how it works with the EPI kit and Hauck machining. Should be great!

 

so did you get the EPI clutch kit and send them that one instead of the factory clutch.. hmmm

 

the epi clutch kit does not replace anything but the springs and rollers, so you can have hauck machine the primary clutch basket and have both(which is what im planning on doing with mine when I get a little more $$ in the bank.)

The epi clutch kit does give you a lot more low end power though.

 

what do you think would be the best way to go about it. do the EPI first then hauk or the other way around

I went the Hauck route since I didn't want to lose any top end. As a hauck owner, I will vouch that I can see a difference in bottom end and throttle response time. Depending on how much grease you pack in your rollers it may take a little time to notice the reaction time. Once it is "broke" in you will notice a nice difference.

 

i think i like the idea of doing both. i'm not sure what it would do. if you would get the low end of the EPI and the high end of the hauk should be interesting to see how it pans out

 

Yea.. I agree. I'm waiting on Chris's and Derrel's input before I make the jump. I really can't seeing any ill effects, but, I don't want to **** the $$ away if it is just a balancing issue.
