Default Carb. problem

Hi, I posted earlier but I want to explain a little better. I have a 1999 Bear Tracker. I just went out to the garage and it smelled of gas. I went to the Tracker and there is a small pool of gas on the floor. The carb. has a tube coming out of the bottom of it and it isn't attached to anything. It is just hanging there and gas is slowly dripping from it. My hubby is gone for the day. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Default Carb. problem

that hose is a vent tube the float on the carb is stuck so the fuel will not stop leaking into the carb you need to clean the carb or just use the fuel shut off near the fuel tank it will leak until all that fuel in the line leaks out or just run it with the shut off in the off position until it runs out uf fuel.

So you are saying that to totally stop this we need to clean the carb? Where do we find out how to clean the carb?

just buy a can of carb cleaner from the auto parts store, take it apart and clean everything with a old tooth brush. as you take the parts out lay them on a towel in the order the came out and reverse.

Did the previous suggestion work? I have the exact same problem on my 2003 Kodiak and couldn't understand that even with the screw fully tightened it still leaking out. I thought this bottom screw was only for draining the float bowl? Was the suggestion that the floats were dropped/stuck low so that that the screw cannot fully engage?
