Default Warrior Carb Question

I am sure someone on here has bought a 38mm Mikuni and put it on the warrior. If so, could you tell me what all you had to do. I am looking at the flatslide, i am thinking I will have to change the intake adaptor and do something with the airbox hookup. Anyone tried this?

Default Warrior Carb Question

they are flat slides but mine is bad and I've heard that a 38mm mikuni flat slide is better then the stock carb. I know several guys bought edelbrocks but didn't like the no choke feature and also they are pricey.

Default Warrior Carb Question

Mines a 38 rounslide and was there when I got the quad so I cant help with installation but I do recommend that carb (38 roundslide). It was the only thing not stock when I got the quad and it was notably faster than a stock warrior. With the few cheap mods Ive done it's only a little slower than a Z400, like 2 quadlenghts at 60mph.

2 quadlengths ain't bad! How's the throttle response compared to a stock one?

Any way you can snap a pic of the carb attached to the engine???

Default Warrior Carb Question

you want a good carb for cheap that will help with power and response try a z400 carb on your warrior, you gotta swap a few parts over to make it work but it does a real good job
