banshee clunk sound

Default banshee clunk sound

It only clunks when you have traction and actually put torque on it. sounded like the rear end so we checked the bearing chain and sprockets. Then figured on the transmission because it was only doing it in first but then it started in all gears. We think clutch now but what part might do that. thanks

Did you check the swingarm pivot bearings? Shock linkage bushings? Look for cracks in the subframe? All the motor mounts in good shape, and and smoked down tight?

ya everything has been been checked but inside the crankcase. funny thing is that i have a warrior also and it is starting to do the same thing but not as bad yet. I have alot of torque on both of them though. I am geared way way down with lots of mods and running 25s because of the conditions i ride.

It still sounds like the swingarm pivot bearings to me, mine would creek and clunk when they were bad and it was hard to pinpoint the source of the sound.
