Making Blaster wider the cheap way.
#1
I have heard that if you simply turn the wheels around on a Blaster you can gain 1 inch on the back and 2 on the front.I just want to know if anybody has tried this and wondering if the added leverage doesnt put more stress on the axle or like a arms?Thanx for any help at all.

In the front, you can flip the rims around and gain about 5-6" width. It is harder on the spindles, but I do not know how much. My wife had a 2000 Blaster and we ran it that way with no problems (obviously) but I know of a few guys that ride at a local track who go big without any problems (so far)
In the rear, the wheels are offset the same, so it doesn't matter which way they are. If you buy aftermarket, they are offset differently, so it will make the rear wider at that point. I haven't heard of the rear axle bending with either factory or aftermarket rims. Hope it helps.

I did it on my 2000 Blaster and it widen the front by like 2" tops! And added maybe 1/2 to an 1" out back. I've beat the h*ll out of it this way even smacked trees, watched it go corner to corner fender to fender down a 200 ft hill, and no problems with the spindles at all.
