Maybe the guy on the Grizz wasn't as good a rider? Stock to stock, the Brute SRA powerslides much better in most conditions...but like DesertViper said, those soft struts really hurt the advantage it may have with the solid axle. Even stiffening up the front with an aftermarket spring kit only does so much. I don't think any aftermarket shocks will lower the Brute the way they do for most IRS quads.
IronBear, you really gotta try to ride both if you can, or at least sit on them...but I doubt you would be disapointed with either, that seems to be a great price for an '08 Grizz EPS.

Krait, you are right could have been the rider, you know the Grizz is a very good bike when i bought mine it was the brute or grizz I got the brute at a better price.
