Does anyone have a part number for valve or lifter adjustment tool for the Raptor? Thanks in advance.

Its called a Tappet Adjusting Tool, $5.95 p/n YM-08035,90890-01311. Doesn't look like much, just a small, cheaply made, stamped steel, wrench with two different sized stamped square holes on each end. I haven't used mine yet so I can't comment on how well it works. For $5.95 I think its the cheapest thing I've bought for the Raptor yet. LOL

Thats interesting that you were able to get the part. I tried to buy it at the dealer (gave them the same part number you show) and they said that Yamaha no longer sells it. Yeah, right.

Thanks for the info. My dealer also said Yamaha doesn't sell this part, but that the company who makes their tools does. If I can find out how to contact them I will place info on this post. My dealer said it was just a wrench with 3mm hole on one end and 4mm hole on the other. Dealer ordered one for me for $5.95 plus shipping. Thanks again.

I got the same story, Yamaha doesn't make the tool but they assign a number to it. A third party company makes the tools and puts Yamaha's part numbers on them. My dealer had the tool in stock. I don't know what that company's name is.

Good Luck,
Joe

Hey AlaskaTRX,
Where did you hook your kill switch to? I am trying to figure out where to hook mine without burning anything up. See my post " Help anyone with knowledge on igniton" if you have any advice I could use it. I need it this weekend.

So is it the 3mm or the 4mm hole thats used for valve adjustment. Also, how many sides does the hole have (ie is it four=square, five=pentagon, etc)?
