#1
I have a warrior right now and love it but it is starting to feel old so I am decideing eather going to a 400ex or Raptor which should I get if you can give me some ups and downs of both.
Also how is the reliability of the two I know on my warrior it is bullet proof.

Both machines are top of the line. They dont get any better right now than these two bikes. It depends on what type riding you do. If you put about a 1k into a 400ex it will win in a drag, but then reliability you have to wory about. The Raptor is awesome right out of the Crate, could be a little wider buit not enough to wory about to mmuch. The 400EX is aweosme except it lacks power out of the Crate.

both machines are great, but here are my reasons 4 spending the extra $1000 on a rator.
# 1 more CCs
# 2 liquid cooled
# 3 reverse
i thought those extra were well worth the extra money
but you still can't go wrong with either.

Here is the skinny on the 660 vs 400 debate. I sold my 400 to get a Raptor and i have not ben disappointed one minute. The Raptor feels just like a 400 except it has a lot more power, suspension is about the same, so is the size and weight.I have had my Raptor as long as anyone(got the second one in all of Louisiana), and i have had no problems with it, and i have run the dog s*it out of it. But on the same level, i had my 400 for about 2 years and it never gave me any trouble either, except for the cracking of the swing arm, but i shouldnt have tried to jump a car anyhow. But seriously, either machine will be pretty much bullet proof im sure. If you have the extra grand i would strongly suggest the Raptor

Here's an un-biased opinion by a polaris owner. I had the opportunity to ride both tonight. My friends both have one. With the two of them racing on a frozen lake(both stock 'cept ice srews), the 400 had the holeshot, but the raptor passed it in the mid range. They both weigh around 130pounds. I raced the EX on the raptor and beat it start to finish(more traction, I wiegh 270). I also found you can ease the throttle open to wheelie the raptor, making it easier to hold, where on the 400, you hafta gas it, let off, then gas it again to keep it up. I also think the raptor comes down softer. You get reverse and tons more power on the 660r, and in my opinion they both handle excellent. I'd go with the yammie, but thet're both great machines.
